Springfield's Favorite Family Arrives in Rocket League: Unfortunately Not the Car You're Hoping For

We already knew that the iconic animated series was collaborating with Fortnite, but that's not the only destination where fans can immerse themselves in the universe of Springfield. The beloved show is coming over to Rocket League, introducing an in-game car skin that will also be compatible in Fortnite. That said, if gamers will actually want to use it is another question, as fans have their hearts set on just one Simpsons car the community is itching to get behind the wheel of, and this isn't it.

The Dream Vehicle

While many gamers would absolutely enjoy to compete behind the wheel of The Homer—the famously flawed automobile the patriarch built himself in the 1991 episode "the one where he meets Herb"—regrettably, that isn't what players are receiving. Not even receiving the massive SUV, the heavy-duty truck showcased in the tenth season. Rather, fans are getting the family's everyday beat-up sedan, which they've been driving since the show's early days. Though this specific vehicle has accumulated plenty of miles, it remains an recognizable symbol of the show. For those who analyze Rocket League car hitboxes, the Simpson family car uses the identical collision model as the Dominus.
